Got a 6er of Lagunitas Sucks. Forgot how good that beer is! Got a taster of Cascade Blueberry, which was a very nice sour. The blueberry was a bit subtle, but worked perfectly. Do you guys get Cascade sours in Ohio? Pricey but pretty damn good. Would love to compare with some local cincy sours.

You need salty, not sour.

LOVE the Lagunitas Sucks. I've only had one sour, and I never really went looking for it, so honestly, I haven't noticed whether or not we carry Cascade, but I may have to keep an eye out after hearing this.

This should be interesting....on Friday, my company is going to someplace called "The Brew Kettle" in Strongsville for a "team building" exercise. We are pairing off in teams of 3-4 and making 3 batches of homemade beer. I guess we have to wait 3-4 weeks for it to be done but it should yield about a case/case and a half for each person. My nephews and my girlfriend's sons are going to get some freebies.

I actually know one of the brewmasters there. Should be a good time!

My cousin did that. He said it was a really good time. Not a bad team building exercise. Way better idea than fucking trust falls.

The food is damn good at the Brew Kettle and the beer selection is fantastic.

One of these days I'll brew some beer there.

Founders vs. Southern Tier (for me) ... however, the Founders vs. Stone is a tough one.

Southern Tier reigns king.

Great Lakes is not better that 3Floyds.
Russian River should be in final four.

Great Lakes defeating 3F's is the worst thing ever.

Eh Russian River makes Pliny and Sours. Not very deep in the assortment. I'm fine with them not being in the final 4.

I've loved everything i've had from them, salvation, damnation, temptation. Not so much love for Sierra Nevada.

Narwhal
Hop Hunter
Torpedo
Maple Stout
Barrel Aged Bigfoot
Barrel Aged Narwhal
Yonderbock
Ovila series

Sierra Nevada is legit. I'll take them 3 times over Russian River and I live within an hour of both. RR is a 2 note brewery. Granted they hit those notes (IPA/Sour) well, but SN is much more diverse IMO. Huge hop/sour head I can see RR over SN. Craft beer nerd? No contest. SN every day and twice on sundays.

Pliny is one of only 7 5.0 I've had, the others listed I think are 4.5s. No doubt the SN are in the 3.5 to 4.5 range and they have more.

I'd take dogfish head over southern tier. I'd also take DC Brau over Ommegang.

Drinking some Galaxy High from Madtree for the first time. I like it better than their PsycHOPathy. One of my favorite IPA's for sure.

Southern Tier was voted the winner over Founders.

As someone who has lived in the South for the last 3 years I'd definitely say Terrapin is the best so at least they got that region right. Terrapin Hopsecutioner IPA and Liquid Bliss aka Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter are amazing. Although it was little said not to see any of the great Alabama craft breweries to be on there. I haven't had any beers from a few of the breweries in the south region might have to look for them today when I got to the local taproom. I was surprised Abita wasn't in this though.

Picked up the GLBC Spring pack. Not great. Not terrible.
