I have to admit that Sam Adams has stepped up a little bit. Still a far cry from the best of its kind, but I would gladly drink it again if I was offered it.
Still have a few of those in the fridge. Pretty good.

My favorite Sam Adams seasonal brew.

Drinking a Pretty Things stout. Pretty damn good. Worth the $8 for a bomber if you come across it.

Goose Island and I have a love/hate relationship. I hate that I love some of their beer. One, actually. Their Russian Imperial Stout.

For an InBev brewery, they seem to have been somewhat left alone.

Anderson Valley Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrel Stout

Very good. Balanced bourbon and beer taste. Just a little light in density, but a good beer all around.

And hell, a bomber for $8 made it a no-brainer.

Had a nice score today. Picking up some beer earlier and while checking out the guy I always talk to just asked me if I wanted a couple bottles of Fat Heads Hop Ju Ju he had behind the counter. I said of course and walked out with 2, been dying to get my hands on some.

Drinking an aged (7 years) Stone Imperial Russian Stout. Thanks again, Curly. It's the first beer from you I've cracked open in a while.

Yes, and most are very staunch 2A supporters.

How'd it hold up? It's supposed to be one of those that will hold up/develop.

I should have warned you about sediment. We had the Batch 1 of Mephistopheles Stout the other night and there was a lot sediment in it. I believe you have a bottle of it from 2006, so when you have it watch out.

I drank my last bottle of the Stone RIS from 2007 recently and it was Wonderful. I still have a bottle from 2008.

If you've had Alchemy Hour last year the you've had Chillwave before. They had to rename it. I'm sure you knew that though. I haven't had it this year, but I'm sure I will...LOTS of it.
