I'm about to start a good drunk. To get shit back together after last night. Killed a Magic Hat summer sampler 12-pack. #9 was good as remembered and the Elder Betty berry lager was interesting. Yuengling today, though. That's a good recovery beer!

I'll have to agree with your lady. The taste was terrible to me. I also heard yesterday that it's suppose to be drank warm? I don't know how much truth is to that.

http://www.beermenus.com/lists/if-you-like-blue-moon-you-might-like-

Some of these will be duplicates from that link but:
- Allagash White Ale
- Blanche de Bruges
- Blue Moon (Belgian) White Ale
- Boston Beer Works West End Wit
- Hitachino Nest White Ale
- Manneken Pis Belgian White Ale
- Sam Adams Summer Ale
- Saranac (Belgian) White Ale
- Smuttynose Belgian Style White Ale
- Unibroue Blance De Chambly
- Wieckse Witte
- Victory Wirlwind Witbier
- Vuuve
-Hoegaarden Witbier
-Great Lakes Holy Moses
-St. Bernardus Witbier

Basically what I'm saying is to go try some other witbiers.

Today I'm drinking some Bell's Oberon while eating some lemon grilled chicken (marinated that shit in some olive oil, lemon thyme, garlic, pepper, salt, a bit of honey, and some onion then basted some more of that in the last few minutes of grilling. Grilled some vegetables with lemon as well and topped the chicken with lemon. Some grilled mashed red potatoes as well. So fucking good. /foodporn) and in a bit I'm gonna open a bottle of Clos Des Ducs Cider that I picked up on a whim since I'll probably be making a cider for the summertime pretty soon.

Is it bad that I don't want to go to the Italian restaurant my wife wants to now because I'm assuming they have a shitty beer list? I've got some Yellow Snow IPA from last night I'm going to drink while getting ready.

SN is one of my go to beers, but after about two I feel like I need a glass of water. Idk why, they just dehydrate me.

Offer is still on the table for sure.

I was unaware of any slam. When did that occur? I'm sure I deserved it.

Lol. Was more of a jab about your Strongbow statement a page or so back.

And I forgot to check with my Mom today to run interference for my Grandma. Granny thinks alcohol is the Devil. Get with ya tomorrow or sometime soon just don't drink them all as I love me some homebrew.

Just found it. Lol'd.

I haven't even drank any from this batch for over two weeks. Self control FTW.

Might as well accuse him of being addicted to breathing.

Picked up some Dirty Bastard tonight based on high praise from those in this thread.

Second sip in, I'm a fan. Thanks guys, I wouldn't probably have tried this on my own as a scotch ale doesn't sound like my usual taste.

For future reference, you're supposed to drink those ASAP and not let them sit too much. Just telling you in case you were planning to save some until summer and beyond. Bell's recommends drinking them right away for best flavor, it goes downhill from there. I've read from some people that anything past 2-3 months is not good.

I have two left. I think I'll drink one if not both in your honor for your chime in on this thread. Been missing you and your input.

They will still be good just in a different way. The Hops will fall out and it will no longer fit the flavor profile. I drank one that was a year old and still enjoyed it, but it was different without the overload of hops.

Oh it was my only one, and I've only had it for two days. Chased it with a Palate Destroyer. AWESOME!

I drop in from time to time. Just more rarely. Been pretty busy lately.

I'm now chasing with water and orange juice ... only because it's all we have to drink (sans a bottle of champagne), now that I drank all the beer.

We sacrificed our cheap champagne on Wednesday in Kentucky. My soberest days lately were when we were down there in a moist county. We even brought more than a case of several mixed craft beers with us to drink, but only drank two KBS.

Best beer I found in the stores down there was Rolling Rock.
