Good catch. That's why you have to try a beer more than once. Different days will sometimes cause different flavors. Either that or you are actually able to pick out more flavors now than you used to.

Thirsty Dog 12 Dogs tonight as well as moving my Christmas ale to secondary. Will figure out what and what quantity of spices I'm adding to secondary in the next few days.

12 Dogs is one of my favorite Christmas beers. I really suggest picking it up. It's usually a dollar cheaper than GL Christmas and has about a percentage higher ABV which is nice.

The Young's Double Chocolate Stout and the Rogue Chocolate Stout were very good both in their own way.

The Young's was a bit more milk chocolatey, tasted more like a milkshake.

The Rogue had more dark chocolate cocoa flavor. A bit more bitter.

A+ would drink both again. Also both were much better than the Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout which I had heard good things about but is just way too boozy.

I just read that a friend of mine had Black Rajah after a White Rajah. That just sounds so racist to me. WTF!!! Can't we all just get along???

Kiddin don't move this to the Poli Forum Mods. And congrats to THAT person as I've Never had it.

And Mooney I expected more from Young's. I didn't feel the Double in it. I know others that love it, just not me. For the record I used to love the Brooklyn, but now it's too sweet of a finish for me.

Best package I've ever received. Good friend of mine sent me these. I haven't had them yet, been letting them settle from traveling. I'm not sure which one to have first. I have a free night Wednesday so that'll be when I have the Speedway Stout.

I like the bastards.

I had a Ruination IPA this weekend, and that was incredible. Found it for a great price in Bellefontaine. Everywhere else, it's out of my price range. I think a bomber was like $6 or something. Other beer I had this past week was a Self-Righteous, which I was also very impressed with.

Not to heavy on the coffee taste, could enjoy the carmel in it. Not my favorite kind of beer, but there are about 5 that I could appreciate and drink.
