Sorry. I don't have one I'm asking if anyone has ever gone with their "golden ticket" to Dark Lord Day?
Not too far away, only a few hours drive. Ya see and hear about people bringing rares and trading beers while there.

Figured somebody would have gone.

This thread made it to the 2nd page for the first time in a long time. I feel shamed and that we let the OC down.

I picked up the Sierra Nevada Tumbler Fall Brown Ale. First one through and really enjoying it. Its a great brown ale with low carbonationL and a toffee flavor that I particularly liked. Little more bitter than your avg brown ale.

It's wine for me tonight.

Business has been down, and I don't have a palate for decent wine, so I can drink the cheap stuff. I honestly know what I'm drinking is probably shit wine, but I'm committed to keeping it that way, just so I have something I can still slum it with.

Bummer, sorry to hear that O-Trap. Much as I've tried, I just can't get into wine. Everytime I drink it, I just think how much I'd rather be drinking beer. Does get better with every glass though.

No worries. I pretty much had the choice between cheap beer and cheap wine. Cheap beer: 3.5%. Cheap wine: 13%.

That's literally all the thought that went into it.

Well The Wife was off work today and went to the Jungle to pick up fixins for Gumbo. She noticed they had Pumpking back on the shelf and grabbed a couple more bottles. This after me getting 4 bottles of it yesterday from the Haji Mart down the street.

She was also lucky enough to score some Three Floyds Dreadnaught, Arctic Panzer Wolf, and The Bruery Oude Tart. (Never tried the last two)

I just love her...and for $49.99 you could too.

Dreadnaught has some kick to it. Not my absolute favorite double IPA (nor my favorite so far from Three Floyds ... that would be their Pride and Joy) but of course, pretty much everything from Three Floyds is kick ass.

True on the Kick Ass. Never had anything from them that I would not try again, several times in fact. SOLID. BEERS. Just wish we could get sixers here instead of just bombers from them.

Enjoying my first Punkin of the season. Oh how I've missed thee. Now if I could only find Smuttynose or Post Road Pumpkin beer I'll be very happy. Might bust out my Jacked Oak Aged Imperial Pumpkin bomber tonight.
