edit: this has to be a farce, everyone knows the Bears are looking at 2-8 :)

They did say the Chipps would win one!

Looked good at the first scrimmage with TV, will know more after Friday's scrimmage with Crestview.

I would say par for the course. Looked real good at times, some very average plays at others. Busted coverage in the secondary, or just not making plays, need to fix that. Penalties were limited, as well as turnovers in the TV scrimmage, I like to see that in the first scrimmage. Offense seemed to move the ball at will, defense solid against the run. I am stoked for Friday because of the intensity the Crestview scrimage always brings.....hard hitting all evening, just hope to see improvement every week in all aspects. Last few years Hillsdale's teams have accomplished this, time will tell. Love this time of year!

Can't say too much about the team as of now but I will learn more tonight. From what I've seen, this will be a completely different team than in years past. I like the new defensive coordinator, he coached James Harrison at Coventry. Lost a lot of talent from last year so it will be interesting to see how they stack up.

Indian Valley handled Waynedale in their first set of 10-play series, but when they got into 2 full quarters of game situation, Waynedale did most of the handling and won 28-14 and did not have to punt, if I remember correctly. Indian Valley did get a few big pass plays that helped set up their scores, and they had a few power runs up the middle; but they were not as diverse as Waynedale, which ran up the middle, a variety of sweeps, and the play-action passes we are so used to with the Golden Bears. Another well-rounded team with an undersized yet good defense.
