The seniors at Crestview are wearing numbers and names on their practice jerseys. Other players will just be in red w/o numbers.

Apparently you missed the words "dream season" on that simulation. But hope springs eternal this time of year.

Good news about your boys moving on to the next level. Hope they have continued success in New Concord.

Miyagi says " good news " would be that these fine athletes would still be playing for Rittman this year. "bad" news is they are playing in Muskingum this year. Good news for the rest of us

Anybody run Doylestown through the dream season simulation?...... That would be interesting.

About Minnich from Crestview......He's a stud, but I don't know about his D1 college prospects. It's one thing to excel in the Firelands or WCAL and quite another to jump all the way to D1 college. Most who get the chance have to be 6 foot something and 200 and something. I'm not saying he won't make D1, I'm just saying the odds are against it.

And for an example, the Monheim kid was told by the D1 scouts that he needed to be 6'2" and 230. He is just there.

1_Beast gets it. And this is a WCAL thread, so let's take this some place else.

btw, for all you WCAL posters, the Steiner kid is a relative of mine and one of the reasons that I check in on these threads.

And just to refresh: BRF's favorite WCAL teams are Waynedale, Smithville and Dalton.........in no particular order.

I'm pretty sure the varsity is around 7:00, though. Don't make the mistake I did when I traveled to Indian Valley for the 5:00 start time only to watch the junior high and freshman teams scrimmage for 2 hours until the varsity finally started warming up.

Waynedale schedule says 7:00:
http://www.highschoolsports.net/Team/Waynedale-High-School-Apple-Creek-OH/Football/Varsity/Boys/
Indian Valley schedule says 5:00 but also says:
WAYNEDALE (JAMBOREE GAME @ WAYNEDALE 7 - VAR.) (scrimmage):

The WCAL decided week 10 at Creston. I love this program! LOL!
