Great, It;s Friday.

So fucking what.

It used to be great, when I didn't have to work on Saturday

I used to love to have my boss hand me my paycheck and thank me foe a great job. Now I just get a fund transfer and a email stub in my in box.


I used to go out after work cash the check, stop a watering hole and quaff a few beers with the guys at work and maybe not get home until 2am in anticipation of slippin the ol lady a drunk one. Now I just go home and hit the bourbon. turn on the news and fall asleep in the recliner.

Fuck I'm in a rut

I love friday when I was young a reckless and now I just enjoy friday
Dinner with friends our house or theirs, going out for dinners, sometime take in a movie, maybe some special event planned months in advance ... simple shit not as reckless as drinking till the bar closed, pick up girls, fights and then finding my way home till the next morning and doing it again on Saturday...

Part of the problem with a rut is, you don't like the rut, but you don't like the thought of changing it, either.

Been there, Bomber. Sucks. Just look for something to pour your time into to get your mind off it until you work your way out.

Just curious.....what kind of gig do you have that you work Saturdays?

I've been there before. During my last quarter taking 20 hrs/week then working at a bar Thurs-Sat.....shit suckeddd.
