Can you believe that dude is a pro? Mad River Mountain, or hill as I call it is his "home mountain" in Bellefontaine/Zanesfield....crazy.

I work for Louie's dad at the radio station here in Bellefontaine. They are a class act family. I'll be watching just for Louie, the pipe is on at 9 pm tonight.

Vito is 3 for 3 this year with his events....3 events, 3 wins. He's in his prime...too bad it wasn't last year for the Olympics!

I missed Vito's first run, he is 4th out of 16 after 1 of 2 runs. The top 8 go to the final Sunday night.

Pretty much exactly what I expected. No one pulled anything real shocking. They elites threw down tame runs, and pretty much just skated into the round of 8. Like I said, nothing surprising. What I hate, however, is how the judges suck Shaun White's gonads and award him the #1 seed just because he's Shaun White. White literally went down the entire halfpipe without throwing any twists or tricks. He basically just surfed up the pipe and launched himself nearly 20 ft in the air. While sick in it's own right... come on judges... at least make the guy do something besides ride down the pipe.

It is impressive, however, how much more air White gets than the rest of the field. It's actually quite laughable.

Vito could be so good as he actually has the tricks in the bag to compete (and beat) against White, but he just doesn't get the air needed to take White down. Shaun's jumps are easily 5-10 ft bigger than Louie's. If Louie wants to win this thing (and he's never had very much success competing in the X-Games), he's going to have to go big. Plain and simply.
