Haven't seen King's Speech but it sounds like it will win for picture and Firth for actor.

Really tough competition this year, lots of quality nominees.

Didn't see most of the movies nominated for BP, but of the ones I saw I thought 127 hours and the Social Network were both no better than average.

Inception was solid, but I don't think it was best picture good.

Yes this has been a great year. I saw every best picture nominee except Winter's Bone and they were all good.

She did steal the show. However, IMO, True Grit is the worst of the 9 BP noms that I have seen.

It was a great movie and deserved most of the nominations, but I don't think they deserved a best director nomination over Nolan.

There used to be 10 nominees for best picture, I actually kind of dig it.

I like it, but it would be cool if they didn't have a set number. So in good years they could have 8, 9, or 10 but in bad years there is only 5, 6, or 7.

Inception should have won best original screenplay. smh. Most original idea for a movie I have seen in years.

I wanted to see Inception win, but it's not only an award about the originality of the film. In fact, that is probably down the list of things taken into consideration.

Yeah Inception didn't have enough dialogue IMO. The King's Speech was great with the back and forth between Firth and Rush.

Toughest call for me. I would have voted Rush, but Bale was deserving also.

I thought Bale was phenomenal throughout the whole movie, but what really got me was when they showed the real Dickie and how realistic Bale's character actually was.

Hans Zimmer for Inception should have won Best Score. In a movie with incredible visuals, acting, and directing, I thought the score elevated the movie.
