Since the announcement thread has now turned into a pissing match and a lot of people's (or at the very least, MY) concerns are seemingly un-read, I think it's pertinent to have a thread dedicated to it. It's just that there's a lot of ambiguity in the announcement and the way the mods are addressing (or not addressing) seemingly easy to answer questions is eerily similar to the 11/10/10 debacle on the JJ.

I'll try to keep the first post up to date as questions are posed and answers posted.

Here are my questions:

If I type shit, or any other swear word, will it be filtered (meaning ****'d out) or will I get a gong or both?

Also I don't like the untouchable mods rule. If a mods an ass there's nothing anyone can do about it?

According to our thread in the mod forum. First curse word will be filtered, but a notification will be sent to the mods, second curse word will result in banishment. I think it's best if the mods don't have posters questioning them.

I find it interesting that this was only posted in the basement... the forum designed for trolling.

Wait, really? No more swearing? Not a huge deal but I don't think swearing is main issue on the site.

Yes, but you can't just be a dick to a mod for applying the rules or because you have a pre-existing grudge with him.
