I've hurt my knee playing football 4 times. Never once did I then stand up on sidelines afterwards.

my knee was hurt or acl/mcl/pcl sprain, I would not be standing up on the sideline. #jaycutler

I also saw a tweet that he had torn ligaments. It was a RT from a friend of mine from someone else, can't remember who though.

I'll love all of these players and their back tracking when it comes out that he has something torn.

Yeah. Pretty shitty for fellow players to call him out like that

Let's wait and see what the diagnosis is first. If it was a sprain, Cutler is going to continue to get BBQed

Just because you can walk on a bad knee doesn't mean you can run, cut, etc. Calling him a pussy is a bitch move, when none of them were in his shoes and they were all sitting at home watching.

I can't imagine him being able to stand up on the sideline if he sprained or tore a ligament. Having sprained a knee ligament before, it is very painful and your knee feels so unstable you wouldn't want to stand on it, but I guess we'll see.

A girl I went to HS with tore her ACL in a soccer game and played another 10-15 minutes on it.

Not doubting you at all, I've sprained my knee ligaments also and really couldn't do anything either. Everyone is different. A lot of it is the adrenaline you feel during the moment it happens.

Watched a HS basketball game last night where a kid hurt is knee and tried to come back in but it gave out again. Ended up being an ACL so being able to stand on the sideline isn't too far fetched for a serious knee injury.

Yep.

My brother did the same thing, tore it and managed to play a bit longer before having to come out.

Exactly. I can't imagine any player that would sit out in that situation unless he is hurt badly. These people will feel like shit tomorrow more than likely.

It doesnt help that no one likes him in general. When you are a bitch and douchebag, people are gonna want to take shots. The announcers hate the guy, which is why he is railed on a lot of broadcasts. He is just an unlikeable guy.

If you are injured badly enough to not play then at least be icing your knee or having people looking at it. Don't be standing, not sitting, standing on the sidelines doing nothing.

Maybe, just maybe his fellow NFL brethren actually know he's a pussy, and wouldn't change their tweets were his leg broke in half.

Didn't Rivers play on a torn MCL/ACL? It was also the game that LT sat out with some injury...

Cutler is a little bitch and a pussy. And no matter what happens tomorrow I don't think thats going to change how anyone feels about him sitting on the sidelines during the game.

I missed this during the game, but this morning I was watching Sports Center and they were showing Cutler reading a book on the sideline during the game too. That's just not going to fly any way you cut it

Who knows the whole story, but the fact of the matter is there are a lot of guys who go a whole career and never get the chance of playing in the NFC championship. You are right IWP, Cutler probably could get by if he was doing something different. Guy probably should have just went back into the locker room.

Like how some of the other Chicago Bears said, it's easy to make comments when sitting at home on the sofa.

What would Cutler's motivation be to "Bail" on his team?? He was beaten up literally and figuratively early in the year. The Bears righted their ship and he was critical to them advancing in the playoffs. Why would he quit at this time?? It makes zero sense.

You'd have to cut my damn leg off for me to miss any type of Championship game, not to mention the fucking NFL NFC Championship game! I mean I would at the very least have gone in the locker room and watched from there, not STAND (knee injury??) on the sidelines and watch the game....talk about a fucking pussy
