For those of you who are the praying type, please send some prayers my way, if you could be so kind. My grandmother suffered a severe stroke on Saturday/Sunday and is in the hospital. I've never seen a family member, let alone anyone close to me, go through this. I have never lost anyone close to me. Tough time for me personally.

Thanks in advance.

Prayers ETB to you and your family!

Chiefs family has a little going on as well. Looks like Uncle Chiefs is finally going to succumb to his cancer. He's been a fighter, but they weren't expecting him to make it through the night. They will be shocked if he makes it to the end of the day today.

Our family has a little scare with the nasty little fucker Cancer as well.... Two weeks ago my mother was diagnosed with State 1 Breast Cancer. She had surgery this past Thursday to remove the tumor. She has 10 Radiation treatments, 2 a day for 5 days then she starts the Chemo process to hopefully get rid of this as soon as possible. I'm glad they caught it way early and hoping everything will be fine.

And ETB thoughts are with you as well.

Hang in there.... this happened to with my grandmother last year. She suffered her final and third stroke this past fall, and decided enough was enough, wanted to end the pain, and stopped using her feeding tube at the nursing home. She passed two weeks later this past November. It was sad, but we were happy for her to end the pain.

I think that she is going to be OK. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. It's still so hard to get over this down feeling, and to shake it off after seeing her in that condition. I've never seen my grandma that way.
