The people of Holmes county know better how to spend their money then than the wizards of smart in Columbus. I have said this before but it is worth repeating. People always spend other peoples money less responsibly then their own. When it comes to government, the local level is about as close as it gets to their own. Subsidies from the state and feds skew that. Also state and federal money many times come with strings attached. No thank you.

Why should they compromise? Their is no need for it. Elections have consequences. If the people of Ohio wanted compromise they would have elected a divided government. I would expect the democrats to govern in the same manner if the tables were turned. If you got a straight flush you play it.
