I heard about this story on the radio this morning. I am surprised that FWK is not over on this thread, because from what I heard I thought it was all about gay dudes wanting to living with girls (and vise versa) because they had more in common than with straight guys.

Also Treudley on West.

It's only a pilot, it's going to be like 50 students out of the 8,000 that live in the dorms. If it doesn't work, it will end there.

There's a hall named Treudley?

Shows how much I make my way to bumfu... I mean West Green.

oh yeah, but you'll sign off on marriage? This is just an easier way of saying everyone fucks in college. The fact people get so angry about it means they just want control their kid's lives even more....

That's how it was at my undergrad, too. The only people who took advantage of living in a co-ed room were gay guys and their female friends. Everyone benefits, right?

The only people who are going to do this are gay guys who cant get along with a strait roommate or a boyfriend/girlfriend stuck up each others ass.

As I said before, I bet some girls who've had negative experiences living with other bitchy girls might try living with a guy instead to save the drama.

Can't they just live in a single? Don't all guys get morning wood? How weird would it be for someone's daughter to look over the room and see Mr. Peepers sticking out of the boxer shorts?

I have no major problem with this as long as both parties ask for the room together. However, I would hate to have to oversee the room assignment stuff. You know this would cause lots of room changes 2 weeks into the semester when the couple inevitably breaks up

I was an RA in the dorms. The girls were absolutely crazy. The argued over the most petty things. For the most part, the male residents all got a long pretty well, or at least tried to make the best of the situation even if they were roomed with someone they had a problem with or had a huge cultural divide with. OT but one other thing I noticed in the dorm was that there were some females whose rooms were a lot messier than most of the guys (although on average the girls were still more tidy).

Heck, that's a women's/men's difference all through life, not just college. I can't believe the absolute petty crap my wife and her female friends get into a fuss about. Us guys that have any type of disagreement, which is rare, we just say screw it and have a beer.
