LMFAO!!!! HAHAHAAAAA. Way to make a splash Holmgren. There cant be one Clowns fan on here that is happy about this hire. He was the OC of a team that ranked 29th and 26st in offense. Keep cashing them checks walrus. Major fail for the mistake by the lake. Thank God I'm a Steeler fan.

Some success? Sure. But I don't think it makes or breaks it. Coach can't do nothing without the talent.

I thought the great Holmgren was a GOD when it comes to evaluating talent? You saying he's a failure?

I wasn't sold on Holmgreen in the first place. But I'm not deeming him a failure after one season.

I appreciate your honesty.Another fail by Cleveland ownership. Go into the archives and see what I wrote about Holmgren when they hired him. Dont ever question my football knowledge.

I don't believe I've ever questioned your football knowledge? You might be able to add some good conversation if you didn't try to be such a jackass all the damn time.

his offense did lead to sam bradford being sacked only 34 times in 590 attempts (1 sack in about 18 attempts whereas david carr was sacked once in about 5 attempts his rookie year) and also only throwing 15 interceptions. they designed the offense to get the ball out bradford's hands very quickly to not get him killed due to deficiencies at offensive line and in the wide receiver corps. they protected bradford and nearly finished .500 and made the playoffs after only winning one game last season.

also, im not really concerned with his offense - that's up to our new oc. i'm more concerned with his ability to manage personalities/egos, make the right decisions in the game, handle the media on a consistent basis, etc. won't really know that until the games start. besides you have to start somewhere. 10 of the 12 playoff coaches are in the midst of their first head coaching gigs

I was wrong on the Steelers though.I predicted 11-5. It would be fun GoChiefs to bring those threads back up to see everyones picks. If I'm not mistaken I predicted a Steeler- Packer SuperBowl.

My Super Bowl game pick was Patriots vs Saints with Patriots winning it...I can still get half of it right I guess.

Few things to consider

Only 2 of the 12 playoff coaches have had previous HC experience

Sean Payton and Andy Reid were quarterback coaches before joining the Saints
John Harbaugh was the special teams coach before being named HC of the Ravens

I dont sense the excitement for this guy from the Clown fans. I dont know if it's because you dont like the choice or you all are just tired of the losing.
