Every squirrel finds a nut once in awhile. It was bound to happen after 10 tries.

I meant regular season, and I already knew OSU had a strong schedule in '06. Guess who had the #1 toughest schedule in the NCAA that same year. Florida, that's who.
Ark. is the 4th best SEC West team, behind Auburn, LSU, Bama. http://espn.go.com/college-football/rankings
Don't gloat about winning a game that would be called a Big choke if the Ark player runs in the blocked punt instead of falling. It was close, you finally beat an SEC team. How many dumpster fires did you start celebrating it ?

in the regular season, they were the #2 sec team..hence the reason for a bcs bid over lsu and alabama.I like the whole "IF" thing..who knows maybe if ted ginn didnt break his ankle after returning the opening kickoff for a TD against that "speedy" sec team, we would have beaten florida. btw, players are taught to fall on fumbles, not taught to try and pick them up and run.

Just like I said, you can't be a "fan" of 2 teams.

You are a UF fan through and through

Our definition of neutral is a lot different than college football's definition of neutral.
Stop making excuses of where the games are played, no team picks where to play there neutral games. All that matters is that its two teams, one one field facing each other. The best team wins. period

yeaa.. LSU played auburn and bama back to back, both were ranked in the top FIVE. Half of LSUs schedule last year were made up of RANKED opponents (two of which were OOC opponents, UNC, WVU) OSU played TWO! So who plays the tougher schedule?

centralbucksfan;636925 wrote:So LSU is finally playing a top 10 quality program and we should be patting them on the back for this? Give me a break. And as others have said, come back and talk about it when you actually go play on their homefield. People can rip on OSU all they want, but at least they are schedule the one BIG game vs traditional big time powers and doing a home and home. I realize the rest of cupcakes most of time. But its not unlike every other top program needing home games.

As far as next year top 10. Hard to pick right now. I mean if Cam Newton returns, Auburn is top 5. Without him, maybe not top 15. LSU returns a lot of talent. Okl obviously does as well as Oregon. Alabama...losing QB, RB and WR. Thats 3 VERY good and KEY players along with others. I know they are talented, and know they return quite a bit of defense. But I think they will burp up at least a couple of losses again next year. Not sure I would have them in my top 5 so early. And I doubt I would have OSU in top 10 early without the suspended players.

I was just browsing some "way too early top 25" results google gave me, so i was lookin arouund this site and i coulnt help but notice all the LSU haters in the house. Someone brought up the LSU vs Oregon game being a "home" game for us, and all these OSU fans started wining about how they lost to us in NOLA, and how we dont play anyone, so i stepped in and added my opinion, and yes im a HUGE LSU fan!!!!

Well trust me, this site will be all up on ya for not being a OSU fan. And a fyi, the SEC is no good, they all cheat, they get too many recruits, play all home games for bowl games, OSU is going to win the title every year and Pryor will win Heisman. Just to some up this site some.

he also forgot to tell you he is a kentucky basketball fan, not lsu. How you can have 2 different favorite teams, let alone in the same conference, is beyond me.

Hey,

In football it's Michigan all the way
In basketball, it's Kentucky all the way. I however have legitimate family ties to both of the states/schools.

There's nothing wrong with it. In football, if they played, I'd root for Michigan 100%. If they played in basketball, I'd root for UK.

I have one favorite team. There are other teams that I root for, but only one favorite team. Nothing wrong with rooting for michigan and kentucky, but the selective sports in which you root for them (which also happen to be their sport with the most tradition) makes you a bandwagoner, JMO.

Am I a bandwagon fan if family has gone to both schools, and I grew up rooting for nothing but both schools? My grandma and her 8 siblings grew up 15 minutes from Lexington and have ties with the school. My mom was preparing to enter into Michigan's School of Law before she got knocked up with me and had to drop out. It's not like I woke up one day and decided I was going to be a fan like so many do with the Lakers/Yankees, Sox,...
