I wouldn't want to be doing these polls but I this is what I would have:
1. Olentangy, 2. Licking Valley, 3. Canal Winchester, 4. Jonathan Alder, 5. Bishop Hartley, 6. Whitehall, 7. Hilliard Bradley, 8. Big Walnut, 9. Highland, 10. DeSales

Agreed. I wouldn't be wanting to be the one doing the DII polls either.
Also agreed, but with limited knowledge, Whitehall might be better than #8. (I'm sure the correct answer to this is, "Hey Cruiser, why don't you stick to trying to get the DI poll right." And to that I say, "Agreed.")

I would choose Baker over Clark I think the Settles and Pressley would be a good match but I would chooose Settles with the win.

Highland did finish like 10-15 points better but Hartley was missing 6 wrestlers for the tournament. They only wrestled 6.

How many starters was Whitehall missing last weekend at Logan Elm? They didn't have a great showing.....but I'm pretty sure they were not at full strength.

Someone....please fill me in on Cody Pollitt (Olentangy), the new #1 at 130 lbs. He is a new name to me.... Caserta and Fosco each were moved up a weight class...will they stay there?

Good question D4S... Circleville and Amanda both dominated Whitehall. I think there are some Circleville wrestlers that should be on this list, at least the 135,140 and 145.

I know it's hard to believe, but Circleville is not in our district for wrestling.....they go to the Goshen District.....so they are not ranked with the Central teams/individuals.FIREBALL5152;635737 wrote:Good question D4S... Yes Circleville did well this weekend. Whitehall was without a couple wrestlers, however the weight classes they were missing wouldnt of helped them against Circleville. Not sure if they would have matched up better against Amanda or not.

Funny thing is. Circleville and Logan Elm had the opportunity a few years ago to join the central district again. But they both Denied. I would think it would be a little better to be in the central district. Think of it this way, When they go to there district, they basdically only have 3 spots up for grabs in each weight class, a graham guys takes one right off the bat. lol! I think if you throw circleville and logan elm back into the central district, it makes it that much tougher for d2.

Agree basically only 3 spots open at Goshen, but IMO those 3 spots are easier to nab than the combined Central/East tourney. C/E is deeper......USMCdevil05;636023 wrote:Funny thing is. He went 2-0 at the State Duals @140 Sun and beat Donatelli and Wohrle@130 at the Porter Sat losing to Nace.
He went 1-2 at the MIT and was listed as 11-2 for the Porter so he is now 16-3. At least thats what I could find.
Yes he has opened some eyes. I think he's just a frosh?

Depends on the year I guess! Theres 3 spots up for grab....Then you have Greenville, Athens, Washington Ch, Miami Trace, New Lex, Ross, Eaton...Some of these schools are not big names but trust me they have some studs. I think its just as tough or tougher than C/E.Dad4Sports;636118 wrote:Agree basically only 3 spots open at Goshen, but IMO those 3 spots are easier to nab than the combined Central/East tourney. Stolte is making the drop this week to 145,also Workman to 152,and Legace to 160 witch should make valleys lineup even better. There are a few others not mentioned also that poss could be top 3.I cant wait to see how they stack up this weekend at the Sheridan Inv. aganst Circleville, Sheridan, and Amanda.

imo Hutchins will not beat Wilson. I could be wrong, as i often am, but this time i don't think so.

I think hutchins wins by atleast 5. Hutchins is a level up from Wilson i think. Smoot beat Wilson and i think hutchins would beeat smoot even.

i had heard Wilson was up on smoot and got pinned. could have been false, but Wilson healthy, which he seems to be, is one of the most underrated kids in the state, i suppose we will know more after the CIT ends tomorrow.

Both Wilson and Hutchins are great!
Not sure who would win but it would be close. Give a slight edge to the senior Hutchins I guess.
