Why do people do this? They get offended by something so they tune in to it so they can bitch about it! I don't get it. Don't like whats on the TV, change the damn channel! Don't like what is on the radio, change the damn station! Don't like cussing on a message board, find one that doesn't allow cussing....the list could go on and on. Are you offended by anything? If so do you keep up with what is offending you so you can complain about it?

Me personally I can't find much of anything that offends me and if it did I wouldn't stick around it. People that get things taken away from others because it offends them blows my mind. Find something that doesn't offend you then and move on.

its funny because it seems so easy to do, yet so many people are completely unable to do it. i've always wondered the same thing.

goes along the same lines with some of the laws in this country, just because you dont want to do something, doesnt mean everyone else shouldnt be allowed to do it.

I like to argue and debate, its the ones that are offended by something so they demand rule changes or for it to be taken away all together that causes the issues!

I'm offended by people who think their political affiliation, religion, college degree, race, income, etc. make them better than other people....

Like, for instance, when Rush Limbaugh says liberals are un-American, that pisses me off....

or when someone thinks my friends are trash b/c they look a certain way or are from a certain place...that pisses me off.

I generally try to avoid such ppl, but they're everywhere...

I don't remember the last time anything offended me. And if I know someone is going to ruin my time by being offended, I am more likely to go out of my way to piss them off and send them home WAY ahead of time, so everyone else can cut loose and have some fun.

We had a conversation about this once in regards to a Christmas party at work. It was always nice, they gave a couple free drinks, etc. Then it had to be call a Holiday party. Then it was a Winter Festival. Then they didn't want to have alcohol. So my question was, "When is anyone going to tolerate me?" Why am I always the one who has to suppress my traditions, beliefs, etc. in order to appease everyone else?

So for the next festival, I did the following: skipped work that day to "decorate" but instead, sat at the hotel bar (we reserved a conference room at the same place, but didn't have drinks in the room) and got plastered - stuck the company with the bill; ordered a petting zoo, who was eventually ordered off the property, but not before trailing goatshit all over the parking lot; brought a previously fired employee as a guest, who then won the $500 drawing and then taunted everyone as we took half the party to a stripjoint; upon returning from the stripjoint, I then slept with the HR lady.

Okay, so I guess I really didn't prove anything about tolerance, but that was a good time.

How about the signed $20 bill from the co-worker who lost the bet saying I couldn't sleep with her? But anyway, I don't take pictures of anything since they're my memories and you could've done it yourself. Or because I never want to have to show things like this....maybe soon I'll be able to convince myself that it didn't happen.

Or I could maybe get you the reprimand I received after I didn't want to date her ... for claiming to have completed my all of my "departmental conquests". I DID say it was funny that I slept with someone from each department (except for IT - though I'm pretty sure those two dudes were gay), I NEVER called them conquests.

People now-a-days just love to bitch and throw a fit about anything and everything. I think people who do that are pretty much just looking to get attention. Douches.
