He would lose a year, I think. Don't transfers have to sit out?

Yes, if you transfer from a DIA school to another D1A school you have to sit out a year.

Considering how many games we win, I'm surprised we don't send a lot more players to college, especially to Div. I. Anyone have any thoughts?

I agree. Maybe it has something to do with size. You have strong athletic kids.
Wasn't this one of the knocks on Callaros(his size)? Look what he has done this year. Hopefully he continues and maybe thus will get some more kids a shot.

Yep but at least they have a regional trophy to keep them company! :P
If Big Red showed the same energy in the locker room before the Mooney game and put that energy to use on the field instead, they'd have another trophy.

This is not a jab at Reno or the rest of the coaching staff but how much effort do they put in during the season to make sure colleges know about their players and get them to the Big Red games to see them in action? If colleges don't know about the players they won't offer them scholarships, and I'm talking about all players, not just the seniors. Mr. Heard from Mooney picked West Virginia before the season began so it wouldn't be a distraction during the season. Best of luck to all the Big Red seniors.

Are you a control freak irl?

Zach is a brilliant athlete, but in the grades dept he's dumber than dirt (or at least that is what some smart kids said swhen he was in there class).

Maybe bc they're good athletes but bad students?

Isn't that why Macon verbaled to Central Michigan while the season was underway?

UC is a good school in terms of academics. I know because I taught there. Collaros must be doing decently.

Yes, I watched the awards. All I can say is that I hope Brooke plays Big Red in 2010. Then we'll find out who the Team of the Year is!
