That guy in the third pick at the bottom is actually 37 years old.

Are you sure these pics weren't taken after 'Bama won the NC last season? I find it hard to believe an Alabama fan would have their pic taken with Auburn's trophy...that being said, these pics truly do depict the typical SEC fan--thanks for sharing.

vball, last year the Dr Pepper boxes did not spell War Eagle. I understand you being a Big10 fan were unable to figure that out. Thanks for asking.

in Alabama, photoshop is where they take their kodak film to get pictures developed.

another recruit just magically reneged on a nine month commitment to Texas and switched to Auburn... 3 or 4 kids have done this... you can't honestly tell me w/ a straight fact that something fishy isn't going on down there

Probably has nothing to do with them winning the national title.

Does this happen every year with whoever wins the championship? My bet says no, though I don't know for sure.

I'm inclined to agree with this. Surely they would not be brazen enough to pull these shenanigans again. Especially when most are ready to try and take them down. My guess is that if "something" has been going on down there, they are laying low for a little while.

Westerman was tight with his would-be position coach at Texas, Mac McWhorter. He quit. Grimes, from Auburn, swooped in and recruited Westerman. Ironic twist in the story is Texas offered Grimes the same coaching spot, he turned them down. 2for1 loss for Texas.

Did you ever really want to in the first place?

UNDER 12 months.
The money has been traced from Milton McGregor to Cecil Newton. MM was on his way to the courthouse for a hearing to remove his house arrest anklets, and an hour before his appearance the news was given to him. He withdrew his appeal for the anklets suddenly. MM sent $200k to a pastor in Georgia, and that pastor wired the money to Cecil. I hear there is a group of 'black' churches who have been in on some of this for awhile. Supposedly the Feds case has wrapped.

yeah, look at FSU and USC. They were both caught cheating so bad, and the NCAA did practically nothing to them. They had great recruiting classes and are projected to be top teams on the field this year. Pisses me off. Whoever said 'crime doesn't pay' didn't go to FSU or USC or Auburn.

I don't think the tittle will get taken but I would be shocked if Cam Newton keeps his Heisman. The biggest problem I had with the whole thing was he was clearly the best player and you would have had to vote for him otherwise you would have said he cheated or got paid. But the problem was he was not ineligible yet so you really could do nothing about it. Horrible year for Heisman IMO as I think there is a 80% it gets taken away.
