Ohio State travels up north to take on the Wolverines in a matchup better known for their rivalry on the gridiron. Ohio State won the most recent meeting, 69-68 last year in the Big Ten Tournament.

any game on the road in the Big Ten is going to be a challenge, but this one especially--I think tsun is playing good basketball right now, so it's gonna' be a battle...

OSU- 68
tsun- 59

Ohio State defends as well as anyone I've seen this year, and they are exponentially more athletic than Michigan at just about every position. I wouldn't expect the Bucks' offense to be clicking on the road either though. I don't think this is going to be a pretty game to watch.

Ohio state is really good and I watch about every game. They are going to have to get through the grind of the big ten though. I really like Craft and Sullinger. Their going to drop some games and their No.2 ranking may be a little high but I think they could have a great run in the tourney. All the freshmen need to keep learning and they will be fine.

I'm taking the Bucks by less than 5pts.

LOL-even Greg Kelser was commenting how he "never met a shot he didn't like" and "once he gets the rock, he don't like giving it up"...I like him, and once he matures and realizes that even if he passes the ball, there's still a good chance he'll get it back, he'll be an even better baller.

Watched a little bit of Mich vs Kansas and I wasn't impressed at all even though they played Kansas tough. UM has no one to match up with Sully inside. I expect OSU to pound the ball inside to Sully early and often. OSU will need to defend the perimeter vs 3pt shooting. If they do this and do it well...I expect OSU to roll in this game. UM just doesn't have the athletes or anyone to pound on Sully. On paper, this is a big time mismatch. Obviously, OSU has been overly impressive since Big Ten play started....but I just have a feeling they are do to beat up on someone.
I'll say OSU by 13 or more in this game.

Don't totally disagree with you. But he is getting better at this. And Matta is not one to ever put limits on players. Thats part of his recruiting. Thomas is a scorer and thats what he is. Gotta live and die with it. Again, I think he is getting better by the game. He is active on the boards as well. He brings high energy off the bench. He is also getting MUCH better defensively. And he was flat out bad defensively early in the season. He'll only continue to get better. Kid has huge upside.

Buckeyes in a lower scoring contest. Something like 58-47.

Michigan is tough, as proven by their game with Kansas..

I think it'll be a 65-58 type of game.

Was that the guy who did the broadcast on the Big Ten Network yesterday? The funniest part was when he later said "If Deshaun thomas was a baseball player he wouldn't take any pitches, he would swing at everything." I almost hit the floor dying laughing when it said that. lol.

Why do you suppose Hack a Shaq Lauderdale was on the floor at the end of the Minny game instead of Thomas? Matta knew Thoams would chuck up and miss 3 shots as soon as he got his hands on the ball and Ohio State would have lost.

Lauderdale should NOT have been in. I would have taken Thomas OR anyone else in the game at that point. Thomas as a better chance of chucking up a 3 and making it then Dallas does making a freaking FT. Matta screwed up that situation.

Yes...and if so who cares about the players on the court!

And OSU should win big.

YES, and that pretty much summed DT up, didn't it? Also, if Les Miles is introduced at the game, I wonder if he'll make the same pledge that JT did when he took over the reigns--I'll never forget that...

"You'll be proud of our young people in the classroom, in the community, and most especially in 310 days in Ann Arbor, Michigan on the football field."

...well, 2 out of 3 ain't bad :p

Michigan is due for a good shooting game, but that might still not be enough. Lauderdale and Sullinger should get about 40 combined.

Michigan missed all of those shots against Kansas. They would have beaten them if they shot like this. Could be a long night.
