Tough game to call.

My gut feeling says Baltimore is due.

However, I like that the Steelers defense is rested. And the offense has been coming on.

Steelers might just be the better team if they can put it all together.

I think it will be close like it has been the last few meetings. I can't see either team losing by more than 7.

I think either the Steelers come out on fire and win by more than expected or it's close and the Ravens win.

Maybe I'm wrong but that's kind of what I think will happen.

I say the Steelers won't win close this time. They'll either roll or they'll lose.

I just don't see it as being a genuine fan like a lot of the Steelers fans on here or even the Browns fans.

A victory would put the Steelers in the conference title game for the eighth time in the last 17 years.

you're such a flip flopper, how can you pick both teams to win? aren't you suppose to be a steelers fan, what kind of fan comes out and says he thinks his team will lose, way to go.

I try to look at it as unbiased as possible when making a prediction. In this case, this is just my gut feeling.

I think the game will play out one of two ways.

The Steelers might ride the emotion of being at home. Perhaps an early offensive score -- nice, efficient drive -- followed by a defensive-created score -- sack/fumble or interception -- and quickly the place will be rocking and the Ravens will be in trouble. A bang bang start.

But if that doesn't happen and the game evolves into what most expect. Not much scoring. Decided in the fourth quarter by one play or a field goal, I just have a feeling the Ravens will pull it out this time.

That's the sort of tidbit that explains why a Dallas fan would suddenly become a New England fan. Let's face it: Dallas and Pittsburgh fans have a reason to trash-talk each other. Pittsburgh's lone Super Bowl loss came to Dallas (effing Neal O'Donnell...just typing his name gets me roid rage'd). Dallas lost two to the Steelers in the 70s with it being likely that a horrible drop by a great player is the only reason they're not up 2-1 in the Super Bowl match-up.

Right now, the Steelers are one win away from being one game from the Super Bowl for eight of the last 17 years. Dallas is coming off a shit season and for being the so-called "amurrka's team", haven't been relevant for much more than "who's Romo dating now?!?" conversations over the past few years. Except on this site, where they're also relevant for NCF-related tomfoolery. Meanwhile, New England looks like the best team, not only in the AFC, but the entire NFL. If Pittsburgh beats Baltimore, they'd possibly have to play them on the road...after getting crushed by them at home earlier this year. If your team can't get the job done, find the one with the best chance!

As for your prediction, I disagree. Regardless of who wins, I can't see this game being decided by more than single digits. When Pittsburgh's blown a team out (and the same for Baltimore), it tends to involve the other team utterly imploding. Look at the turnovers and big plays against Oakland and Cleveland v2 had that made it look easy. I don't see either team utterly imploding. I can't imagine a blowout in this game...I expect 60 minutes (3+ hours in real life) of emotional hell that might end in a total of $340K worth of fines for various infractions and homicides.

And if Steelers lose, you'll be the first to blame it on poor officiating. Happens every time.

Its called being objective...you should try it sometime. So a real fan picks his team to win every time? lol....yeah thats logical.

Personally I think its a toss up, close game going either way.

Pittsburgh came out on top this year in the majority of the games where the officials sucked. The only one I can think of when they didn't is the Jets game, but I'm not putting that on the refs. I'd much rather blame is on the KO return to the house.

You're much worse for flip flopping on teams just to get some satisfaction.

It's pathetic.

It depends on how it goes. I can't say the officiating won't be a major factor because the ref is Jeff Tripplette, one of the worst in the league.
