All the pressure is on the Patriots in this game. If the Jets get beat they were going to get destroyed by the media regardless of any recent trash talk. They have nothing to lose by talking mad shit right now.

I don't totally agree with this. The seahawks have nothing to lose since they're a sub .500 team. The Jets are a solid team that could definitely pull off a win, it's not david vs. goliath here. I disagree about the media bashing, i think if the jets didnt talk smack and lost it wouldn't be nearly as bad. Now if they lose they come off as a team that can hype a match up but can't follow through

The Jets talked enough shit before the previous two games that even if they were totally silent this time around the media would rip them apart.
Also, what Cro said is true. No one is disputing that so why is a big deal? No one gave a shit when Brady went out of his way to say how much he hated the Jets a while ago.

If you talk stuff like this about arguably the best QB of all-time before a huge game.....it's going to be news. You know that. It comes with the territory.
You can't say that Tom Brady is "an asshole" and "Fuck him" and not expect eyebrows to be raised and for the media not to run with it.

Saying you hate a team when asked if you watch Hard knocks is a little different than calling him an asshole. And apparently the players have responded well to the change of culture. Before they were a bunch of trash talking assholes they wallowed in mediocrity, making the playoffs every other year or so but getting bounced in the first or second round every time. Ryan comes in, changes the culture and they head to the AFCCG game in his rookie season. He has a chance to get there again in his second season. Yeah, yeah, I get it. Harbaugh did the same thing without talking shit.
