Whats going to suck is the Pats winning the game but me losing the NE -10. If they dont cover id rather a Jets win.

A five point game plus a Jet FG makes it an 8 point game - conventional wisdom is that it is too early to chase that point. But Belichick usually has a better idea than conventional wisdom. Probably he knew that play had a high chance of working for two!

Yeah, just thought it was a little early. They miss it and they're down 5 and then Jets get 3.....they NEED a TD AND a 2-pointer. Oh well, it worked out. I hear your logic though.

That fumble would have been huge if the Jets could have stayed on it. Already in FG range (for a normal NFL kicker). So, maybe not.
