Maybe it was a crazy teapartier. Let's see an intelligent woman who was a moderate dem and could work on both sides of the political aisle, sounds like a person that a crazy white man would kill. This is a shame. Prayers for her family

Happened 2 minutes from a friend of mine's sisters house. It's a freakin' mess around there right now obviously. But yes, according to CNN, she is alive and in surgery. Gunshot wound to the head, point blank they said.

Supposedly the shooter was an afghan war veteran, and was between 20-22. Not sure how accurate that is, and yes the woman is also supposedly out of surgery and still alive.

It might be dumb but Palin did or does have bullseye targets over certain states that might imply more to a crazy peron than to you or me. I do believe that this congresswoman was a "target" on Palin's website. If Palin wants to be a leader then she does need to be careful about wording and imagery that might insight people.

Obama is a leader and has done exactly (several times) what you say Palin has done.

I've only seen bits and pieces about this... IT seems like a horrific event, and I guess 5 people were killed, which really sucks, but at least the congresswoman is alive

Obama made a list of his political enemies and put what looked like gun crosshairs on a map to show where they are from?

By the way, Palin didn't do this and that ad or map thingy or whatever in all but the faintest likelihood had nothing at all to do with this. I didn't like the ad because it seemed poorly done but acting like it's why this happened is so shortsighted it's unbelievable.
