2010 was the worst year of my life. My squad of Marines was on a foot patrol in the deep wooded Korengal Valley in Afghanistan AKA "The Valley of Death". On the way out we were ambushed after taking RPG fire and daisy chained IED's. It was estimated that that during the attack we were outnumbered 50 to a 14 man patrol. I was hit with an IED shrapnel that took off leg. The Valley is no longer a priority for the US because of many KIA and a US Soldier almost being captured.

I for one know it's true, would be pretty low to make up a story like that and to doubt someone! Even though Tiger is my BIOTCH, 100% true story and he has more balls than most of the word slinging guys who can't back it up on here!

Tiger2003's story is true and we are all in debted to him and the other men and women who risk life and no pun intended limb so we can all enjoy our freedom and live our lives without fear. Who could possibly make up a story like that anyway?

Tiger thank you for your service to our country and freedoms, you are a fine example of a Marine and man, doing your duty and fighting for our Great country.
My worst pain is, was, and probably will be again....GOUT. This wonderful blood disorder runs in my family, My grandfather had it when he turned 23, my father had it when he turned 23, and I had my 1st case when I turned 24...YUCK. the last attack I had was so severe it swelled my leg from above the knee cap (dislocating it because of the swelling BTW) to the balls of my feet, my toes were not swollen, but every one of them were forcefully spread apart because of the swelling, giving me the sensation of my toes constantly trying to be ripped off my foot. Pretty much I couldn't walk for about 3 days, was wheeling myself around my home in my computer chair, had the damndest time even wiping my own ass. The worst part tho, is the constant, and relentless pain...pain that feels like 20000 knives are being jabbed into every joint from my knee below. I didn't sleep for 3 days this last attack. Then after it is all over, it leaves bone spurs on all of your joints, so after the swelling is gone, you have aftershock pain, currently, mine is laying in my ankle, and I cant wait for the damn things to shake loose and it goes away. It happens every winter, only 2 more months until I have health insurance again, going off my medication for it was the worst part about losing my last job! (Back in 2006)

Can't really decide which was worse, but both were blinding pain. First was losing my left middle finger. I had my hand in a pull out couch and my sister jumped on it, closing it with my hand inside. I was able to pull most my hand out but my middle finger from the center knuckle up was nearly lopped off. I was only 3 at the time but I remember the pain vividly. One tendon and a few veins were all keeping it on, lucky for me I had an amazing surgeon and he repaired it so I have nearly full movement in my finger. I had to wear a cast up past my elbow for several months to heal.
The other was while I was at work on a farm, my second job. We were breaking up a wooden shelving unit inside a 53' trailer, for the animals to sleep in, with chains and a tractor. It kept breaking off in pieces so I just stayed inside, well we got down to the last approx. 30 feet of it and the entire shelf started moving out. Before I could move it tipped over on me and I was pinned between it and the shelf on the other side. My boss in the tractor didnt see me pinned so he continued to pull out the shelf, practically grinding me in the process. I ended up with 3 broken ribs and a hell of a lot of bad bruises on my back. Probably did some damage to my back but I had no insurance so my mother, a nurse, treated/diagnosed it. However, the worst part was a week later I caught the flu and lets just say throwing up with a busted up chest cavity was miserable.

Off-roading...tried to climb a near impossible hill...jeep flipped...broke my femur. That by far was the worst pain I've had.
