I'm not sure he wouldn't be the better pick because he could be a guard or tackle

good athleticism for his size -- 6'5 and 350
Yeah, he's definitely a guy they could look at. I have him going to Philly just before Pitt goes up to pick, however.

Very good job.

Only thing that really stuck out to me is that JJ Watt seems way too low. His stock is soaring.

There's a lot of guys who will shoot up and fall. Watt could become a Top 20 pick by April. Right now, I just don't see him as a first rounder in this draft. But he does have first round talent, IMO.

DaBrowns, I know we got into it last year, but I have a serious question for you.

What do you do with this information? Coming up with the mock draft and having insight into each player is obviously going to be time consuming. Do you do it because you just have an interest? Do you submit your mock draft to companies like ESPN or other sports related companies in hopes of becoming a "draft expert"?

I do find it fascinating that you do this and provide the analysis.

I'm becoming more and more in love with Blackmon, so much so that I think he may just be the best of the 3.

If AJ Green is taken, I think the Browns should get Blackmon. I wouldn't be mind with the Dareus pick, but I think WR is the biggest need right now.

It's so obvious that a passing attack is needed now in the NFL to become a legit playoff contending.

To be honest, I've been doing my own research and stuff since I was senior in high school. I've always had a huge amount of interest in draft coverage, and watching individual performances. It really makes you appreciate a game each more when you can watch individual players and just see how big of an impact that really have on the game itself.

I'd love to be an analyst full time for the rest of my life, because this is truly what I want to do. But right now, I work with NFL Soup which is a growing website and we're working on becoming a premier website.

I don't submit any mocks to ESPN or anything like that, but this will be the first year that I'll have my Top 100 and First Round Mock draft graded by The Huddle Report. If I get noticed by a huge company, fantastic, but that's not necessarily what I'm going for. I just like to do my own research and compare it to other people. I learn more and more each day.

Keep in mind that I'm just an amateur and there are A LOT of draftnik's out there. I don't claim to be more intelligent than anybody else or better than anybody. I just like for people to see my point of view when it comes to this stuff.

My fear with Blackmon (if he comes out) is that he's still raw as an overall receiver. Dez Bryant was more polished and NFL ready and he lasted into the 20's last year.

Blackmon, right now, is big time vertical threat. I question his ability to run routes in more of a horizontal offense like the Browns have seemed to adjust to. McCoy doesn't have the arm to make the down field throws a ton. But if Blackmon can show at the combine that he can run crisp routes and get separation in the middle of the field, then I'm all for it. I just have my doubts, which is why I think Green and Julio jones are the better overall receivers right now.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Blackmon go to a team like St. Louis where they could take advantage of him as a vertical threat.

I'd appreciate if we could keep the hostility to a minimum.

The incident last year is behind me, and I'm sure with thedynasty1998 as well. It was over a year ago, and I know that I was being quite the jackass myself. That's why I took a break and came back with a fresh start here.

I just think Blackmon has the size and speed to give just about any DB in the NFL trouble.

In fact, the WR I have the most questions about is Julio Jones.

I'm not going to make it sound like I'd pass on any of them though, because I think all three will be good to great NFL WR's.

I just think Clevelad HAS to get a WR here who can become a #1 and has the physical tools to do so.

My dream scenario would be for the Browns to pick up a FA like V-Jax and then focus their #1 pick on defense.

It's not even worth mentioning, nor explaining. For those who know what happened, we can all laugh about it now. For those who don't, they shouldn't assume anything, as they look like jackasses.

Good insight on the potential draftees. I'll be interested to see how things change for you going forward.

You recall incorrectly.

IMO, Blackmon will be there in round 2....in which we need to snag him up if he is still there. That would be a steal for us to get a big time pass rusher and Blackmon with our first 2 picks.

I don't disagree about Julio at all. He looks like a Braylon Edwards clone. Same size, skills, speed, hands (dropping easy passes, making most absurd catches), cockiness, etc.

I know Blackmon has the speed to get past defenders vertically, but I don't know about how well he'll do finding holes in the middle of the zone coverage, and getting separation in the middle of the field. That's my biggest question. I just think his ideal fit is in a vertical offensive attack, personally.

It's kind of like the Nick Fairley situation. He's an amazing penetrating defensive tackle, but there's no doubt in my mind he could make a good defensive end in a 3-4 on the 5 technique. I just think that it wouldn't be using him to the best of his ability, like Blackmon if he played in more of a horizontal offense.

For you Justin Blackmon fans, check out how well he performed against Prince Amukamara. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVeWn3bwWTg

Amukamara couldn't handle his speed downfield. There's no doubting Blackmon's vertical ability, and he's excellent coming back for the ball as well, but there were a few times he ran a route into the middle of the field and couldn't separate from Amukamara, who specializes in press coverage, and lacks speed. Somewhat like Joe Haden.

DaBrowns....You obviously study these players quite extensively. And you've done a great job with this mock draft. But I have to disagree with you on Blackmon. I think he's the best WR in the draft, if he comes out. He has very strong hands, catches everything, and adjusts to the ball like no other. I've also noticed that he's a pretty good blocker on run plays. I like the Dareus pick, but I also wouldn't be upset if the Browns could land this kid.

I also don't think you can really say Joe Haden lacks speed. I'm not real sure where that myth started.

He lacks elite speed, is what I'm getting to. But it's not easy finding a corner with elite speed who's very fundamentally sound as well. Joe Haden is fantastic and I'm glad that he's proved the haters wrong. Prince Amukamara is a very special talent as well. He just struggled with the speed and quickness of Blackmon.

What I saw was Amukamara get burnt twice on technique and actually close the gap running after him then failed again on technique in making the tackle.

Well, if you notice, the gap was closed thanks to under thrown balls. Weeden doesn't have the biggest arm. But Amukamara was at a disadvantage because of the underthrows and Blackmon adjusted nicely.

Rumor has it that Blackmon is leaning towards returning to OK State. It'll be interesting to see who all officially declares on the 15th.

The Jets lost their 2nd round pick with the win tonight. It goes to San Diego from the Cromartie trade.
