What I like the most about him is how he immediately mentioned how he doesn't plan on sitting the bench very long and how his #1 goal is to win national titles at OSU.

Really!? Wow that is good. Means he has been throwing since he was just a little dude. And with an NFL QB father at that!

1/4, but of the 4 this was the one i wanted most. still a weak end to the class, but grant really loads up the defensive side of this class so overall it's a great day. losing 2 4* O-lineman on signing day is going to really sting in a couple of years.

We will see. There are better OL in the 2012 class than Carter is now. Not sure about walker. Kyle Kalis is the real deal though. I think next year will be the critical year to stay healthy as there are only about 7 guys I would really want starting on the OL.

Carter is a sex offender and Walker is a surfer.

1 out of 4, but in reality Story and Jennings were long shots. Walker is the one we lost. Other than that, it went about as normal as always with JT. I have a feeling Jones will help us in a couple of years. He's raw and with good coaching he could be a sleeper.

The kid admitted to fondling 15 year old girls and he is 18. Even if we didn't pull it he will be in jail. Tressel has a presser later today where I'm sure he will address it without addressing it.

good ending to an otherwise lackluster sort of day... Walker would have been nice to have... how anybody could play for a snake like Lane Kiffin is beyond me

Walker is good and they needed to pull Carters scholly, but by no means were those guys "can't" miss recruits.

Overall, the defensive side of this class is legit. I can honestly say I think there will be a star at each level of the DL, LB, and DB.

Shazier and Grant could be a great duo at the LB spot.

Already have some of the top guys (Miller, Shazier, Cash etc) already enrolled.

It's being reported now that Carter will get out of jail tonight, and will not be charged. Per Ken Gordon
Carter story takes twist: Attorney says Carter will be released tonight, and detective tells him likely won't be charged. Free to sign?

There was absolutely no mention of Carter on 97.1 today or at the press conference.

I think the local press was told it is off limits.

Just out of curiousity, how will he not be charged? Did he not admit to it and provide evidence that he had molested at least 8 underage girls? I honestly don't see how Tressel can sign him.

I know you are just quoting what Gordon tweeted so I'm not really directing it at you.

Good question. You never really know how much of the original story is true though, so I guess we'll see.
