I agree. I am sure Tressel will feel the same way. He will probably be in jail or labeled a sex offender when its tim to go to OSU in the summer anyway. I wish we would have went after Christ Bryant now. Well now maybe we save another scholarship for the loaded 2012 class.

I agree with the Clemson fans on here. Recently the recruiting hasn't been at a top 10 level. They would get a stud or two but then a lot of 3*'s.

All indications coming out from sources are that Curtis Grant is leaning towards OSU. I hope so, with him our LBers will be NASTY.

I agree our linebacker haul will rival anyones this year. Including Clemson!

Bingo. And this is especially true when looking at the trenches. We would have a 5 star running back. Some 4 star QB and a few 4 stars on D. But we were never strong on OL, LB, or many of the "workhorse positions." We haven't had an elite LB in a long while. Though Cavell Connor had a good rook season for the Colts.


Good to hear about Stoudt. He seems like a great kid.


That thing about the kid fondling teenagers is messed up. I know JT won't want him after that.


We have had some shiiiiittty LBers for a long time, it is nice to get some picked up. But it makes sense because our DC coached LBers at the NFL level.

Call it the mid-morning snowball, but Doran Grant, Brian Bobek, Michael Bennett, Steve Miller, Evan Spencer, Chase Farris and Tommy Brown have all joined the OSU fold in the last hour. That's 19 players in the OSU fold, including signing day newcomer Cardale Jones.

is Tahj Boyd still the stud clemson thought he was when he was recruited? once he turned down the bucks, i quit following him.

Every LOI is in except for PeeWee who will sign tomorrow due to weather. Carter of course is not in and for now will never be a part of this class.

He is in the lead to start for us next year. I really like him a lot, but he is largely unproven. Getting a new QB coach and system will benefit him greatly. What I can say for him is that he is a very humble and nice kid. I have met him on more than one occasion, and he has held doors for me to go through twice into class buildings on campus. By all accounts he is a great guy. We will find out this year what he is made of at QB.

Also Duron Carter got an LOI from Miami and is considering signing. he could come back to OSU in the summer if he stays in school however.

Not much has gone our way the last few years, so it is nice to be a Tiger today. You at OSU largely don't have to deal with the lows that we usually feel; even bad years are great for you guys. So even just signing a really good class is a good day for our much smaller and less accomplished program.

For example, we have only had 3 5 star recruits in the last 10 years (bowers, Spiller, Ricky Sapp). To pull in 4 with a shot at a 5th in one class is as good as we can do.

Hmm that's interesting. I thought the book had all been but closed on Duron Carter?
