I started collecting beer bottles a few years ago, one every time I tried a new beer. I just stopped after about 200 or so because I didn't know what to do with them and got lazy.

When I was young, I collected baseball cards, football cards, and coins. that hobby pretty much ended in the 1980's when the first of our house fires wiped out most of those collections. Currently I keep momentoes from my coaching days and enjoy glancing back at them every now and then. We were very fortunate and had some tremendous kids. There are some wonderful memories boxed up in my garage and in plastic containers here and there around the house.

I used to collect pennants from places I had been or things I had done, and often received them as gifts. I still have all of them but have no place to display them so I rarely add new ones to the collection.

I also collect nutcrackers (the holiday decorations) and have well over 75, and got a new one for Christmas this year.

I'm also an avid autograph collector. Most of the ones I have I attained for myself, though some were purchased and others were given as gifts. The vast majority are sports figures, although I have a few from the entertainment industry as well. My most prized autograph is Emmitt Smith.

I have small collections of baseball, football, and basketball cards, but it isn't something I was ever very active in collecting. Just something I would add to every now and then. The baseball cards are just general baseball cards. The football cards are mostly former Buckeyes or Dallas Cowboys cards. The basketball cards are mostly favorite players.

That's the problem...EVERY. The market got flooded with card companies and now you can find nearly 50 different rookie cards for people now. The money nowadays is in the memorabilia/autographed cards. Some are one of a kind or extremely rare.
