Still will fill a big need after Haynes signed with OSU in February. He is the #1 long snapper in the country and is pretty good sized. 6'4" 230. Was offered today and committed on the spot.

Waiting to see Hendrix on this next series. But if I had to rank based on what I've seen so far...

1. Rees
2. Crist
3. Golson/Hendrix

Eh, Rees had some bad throws as well. Crist was hurt but WRs running the wrong routes a few times. Neither has been that impressive. Also, not having Floyd available is having an impact.

Defense is doing a pretty good job of getting to the ball in numbers.

I agree. The WRs are struggling big time in this game.

The defense has impressed me quite a bit. And this is without Manti. It will be a really solid defensive unit this fall.

I'd think Golson has moved ahead of Hendrix already lol. I'd be ok with Crist starting and Golson getting some snaps too when they open up this fall.

Yes. Golson=arm strength, accuracy, mobility. Only negative is lack of experience.

Yep...Hendrix better have a huge second half...or he will most definitely be 4th on the depth chart.

Damn, Lynch trying to ensure that Hendrix won't be able to beat out Golson...

I like Toma on those crossing routes, he has a little bit of shake to him.

Great run by Hendrix. I guess I shouldn't put a fork in him just yet...

hahah I had to rewind that. I wasn't sure it was Lynch. That was incredible.

I think Hendrix has looked fine given the scenario. He was great in the last drive of the first half too. He's a gamer.

Today: Golson = Hendrix > Rees = Crist.

They've both looked very impressive, it's apparent Golson is 18 though. He will be dynamite.

I still like Hendrix in 2011.

Overall a pretty good day. Got to see some guys make some plays. Nix and Lynch looked good on defense and Golson and Hendrix both had their moments along with Welch, Toma, and Riddick. No injuries other than Hafis Williams missing a few plays when his ankle got rolled up on. Add in a few more highly rated recruits and I'd say the day was a success. Now if only Versus was so impressed with Tom Hammond that they sign him to a deal that will only allow him to call Mountain West games. :) My favorite comment of the day was when he asked if Luke Massa came down with an interception later in the game. Uh no Tom, he is a WR.

Nix has a tremendous bullrush but I wonder about his agility. Either way I see him clogging up gaps this fall.

I hate the aspect about recruiting where five minutes after a commitment I am wondering who the next one will be. I am expecting one or two within the next week or so, one will probably be Maty Mauk.

I saw there was supposed to be one more commit today. Not sure who though but Mauk wouldn't surprise me.
