Dumbass. He came back to school for this??? Sorry, but you have to be smarter and more careful. Call a cab, bum a ride....something....but not this.

Maker better choices in the future.

Well this sucks. I'm guessing BK is beyond pissed right now. You would have thought that Floyd would have learned his lesson after the incident in Michigan. We can only hope this is the one that gets that message through his head.

He'll get suspended and should have his role of captain of the team taken away.

I wouldn't jump to any conclusions that Floyd will automatically be suspended. You guys remember what happen to Ragone, he was busted with pot in May (off season) and never missed any school or time with the team.

I'm not saying that this will go unpunished and he deserves what he gets but the timing of the incident may see him not miss anything come Fall.

b. Second offense: If a student is determined to have violated this policy and it is a second offense as described above, the Office of Residence Life and Housing will:
1. Separate the student from the University for at least one academic semester.
2. Require the student to participate in an alcohol assessment with an appropriate assessment agency and comply with any and all recommendations of that agency prior to seeking readmission to the University.
3. Require that the student permanently forfeit all University vehicle registration and campus driving/parking privileges.
In short, say goodbye to Michael Floyd.

Will they consider this a second offense? Because technically his last underage drinking citation in Minnesota was his second underage drinking citation. They gave him a break because that happened away from Notre Dame. Obviously this is way worse, and he's going to get hit with some punishment. But I don't think they'll kick him out of school for a semester for this one.

I don't think they even mention what happens for a third offense. That doesn't bode well for him either.

Except its not a second offense. What did the first part of that say? Did Floyd even deal with Res Life and receive any sort of punishment from them the first time?

Edit: Scratch that, he was still under probation from the most recent violation. He is probably gone and should be. Pretty much all he tweeted about was partying, so I guess it isn't a huge shock, but still, how dumb can you be?

Michael Floyd was never a brainiac. I wonder how pissed his mother is. She would volunteer to move to South Bend and babysit him every day until the end of fall in a heartbeat.

could be because M is sponsored by Nike so i doubt they would be allowed to be on a Adidas commercial

In addition to the high school games it looks like John Carroll will play St Norbert to open up their season before Navy vs Notre Dame in Ireland.
