I see we have an opening at the start of the season .. I heard we might be playing Gateway at Heinz field early in the season...

We are playing at Ursuline week 4, home against Morgantown week 5, at East Liverpool week 6, and home against Massillon week 7. Everything else is still up in the air.

Doesnt going 0-3 for Ohio say more positive things about Ohio football rather than negitive things about Big Red football ? That is one thing I cant understand about some of your guys rips ... I mean we have defended the state of Ohio very well these past several years . It doesnt even really bother me that we went 0-3 against Ohio teams . It just bothers me cause we had a better team that just didnt get it done whether we lost to whoever ... and those Ohio teams were not bums none of them .. its like argueing with a 5th grader ...

I think we have played one Canadian team .. I definity dont want that .. McKeespord and Brooke and Morgantown and the DC team and Inkster those teams all have good reps and they all been to the finales and most won titles ... I love playing out of state comp and I hope we keep doing it .. Look at our 05 and 06 state title teams and our 08 state runners up team ... cant say we play jokes

There is one area where Big Red probably holds the national record. We have probably played more different teams than any other school anywhere. The number is something like 215. Even Massillon is no more than 170. It makes our seasons a lot more interesting than playing the same old teams over and over.

Sad that this is a Big Red thread that someone posted something you didn't like and you have to rationalize the jab at big red by associating it with a jab at IC. Pathetic... How about trying to come up with an answer why Big Red went o'fer ohio and what you think will happen next year against ohio teams? Just a thought...

Ok We lost to Massillon and Ursulin and Dover .. all playoff teams .. didnt get the job done , so we still won 8 games and only got owned one by one team Ursulin ... Big Deal ... we still made the playoffs .. Your school backed out after you said that would NEVER NEVER EVER happen you said lets play every year and the only we wouldnt was if Big Red stopped the series ... Tell me this SOS If we would have played IC like we were supposed to do you think we would have gone Ofer Ohio ... LOL ..you killin me

SOS , when your IC schedule even remotely compares to BR's please let me know. How many Playoffs teams did you beat? Try to tough that schedule up, 5 D4 schools on a D3 team schedule ? WOW !! Try Playing up a division or 2, then let me know what its like.

Wintersville used to have some pride.. They would play Newark and Zanesville when those teams were good . They played a very good schedule once ....The old Wintersville would go 9-1 or 10-0 with that schedule you guys play now ... sad very sad ... You have no standing for critising our schedule .. None whatesoever....
