I've purchased/played multiple games over the past few weeks with not so great results; basically having a tough time finding really good new game. Here is a list of what I've bought/played...
COD Black Ops - Bought this the day it came out and I haven't played it in about 3 weeks. Very disappointed in the game, a huge step down from MW2 as far as maps, guns, graphics..... I like wager matches but overall I don't like the game.
Fallout New Vegas - Played this for a couple days and had mixed feelings, I didn't really understand what was going on. I thought it would be cool to roam around, but then thats all I did (on top of steal things I had no idea what they would be used for).
MAG - I wanted to play this for a long time but just bought it a couple weeks ago. I love the idea, and the gameplay is much different than COD. You don't just run around shooting people, because there are so many people that if you are in the open too long you are dead. The annoying part is that it is hard as hell to kill people; I'm lucky if I get 4 kills in a match. It just isn't very smooth like COD.
Red Dead Redemption - I bought this right after MAG and it's the one game that turned out to be a hit. GTA in the wild west and I love it.
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood - I got a Gamestop giftcard for christmas so I got this game yesterday. I've never played any of the AC games before but I always thought they looked cool. Well the first 30 min of the game is people talking and I lost a lot of interest fast. I'll give it another try but I think I was expecting more.
Games I was considering:
EA MMA
Medal of Honor
NBA2k11
