Should not have clocked it on 2nd down. Take five more seconds and run a play - would have still had time for a 4th down play!

I guess so, I'm just always think they ought to be able to do the best possible. Maybe it was just a tease by Carson for the fans to throw one down away with a spike, and then overthrow the game winning TD so they could get a better draft order! Maybe Carson thought he wouldn't get criticized as much if he feigned one mental blunder and one physical blunder - that would be better than two of one type of blunder!

First off even if Carson throws that accurately the Raven defender was charging, but still, gotta give him a chance.
And the spiking the ball on 2nd down was idiotic. Carson and Marvin have shown time after time they don't understand clock management, so I shouldn't be surprised.
One last thing and I'll keep this short: Bratkowski needs to be fired by 5pm. That 4th and 1 play with about 5:30 to play was a joke.

The play was there if he threw it sooner or Carson could have even ran it in... or he probably would have fumbled before reaching the goal line ...

Watching the highlights....as Carson began to scramble the defender came off of the receiver in the endzone and up on the back from the backfield....he was charging him hard....he fakes him and tosses it to the receiver in the endzone.....well he just crapped himself
