I got the letter and I only took classes there my senior year of high school. It's legit though.

It would have went to the last address we had on file for you, so if you've moved since 2004 that's why you didn't receive one.

I understand that, but the letter I received says that the university is contacting everyone who has ever had an OSU email address (with an osu.edu designation) of which I've never had one. Just thought that was strange.

As it is, I was signing up and it turns out that Ive got an invalid activation code and need to call to get a new one.

Yeah, I'm puzzled as to why they included that wording. AFAIK they sent it to everyone, email address or not.
