Since some of us seem to be in agreement that maybe he should start the Sugar Bowl, lets take a look at him. Sure, hasn't seen a lot of game action since he's been at OSU, but sure seems to be a heck of an athlete. Couldn't find a HS highlight tape on Youtube. Pros? Cons? Upsides? Downsides?

I saw tape on him a long time ago and was actually pretty impressed. He is what he is. Good arm with good mobility. I don't know how far he's come along since he's been at OSU but he did look good in the spring game.

Plus he's from Texas. That's always a plus.

I would worry about him being able to throw the football, especially down the field when we have some chances... just found some spring game tape and doesn't look to well throwing it

If Pryor can do it then Kenny G can get by as well

Honest question: if OSU is playing, say, Texas in this game ... does Tressel 100% suspend them? I honestly believe the only reason Tressel hasn't suspended them is because of the 0-9 record vs. the SEC, but maybe I am overthinking this.

I would hope so.

You just don't want the game to get to Bauserman's hands... we all saw what happened @ Illinois...

I'd rather have Jordan Hall play QB than Bauserman. He's that terrible.

If Tress starts Bauserman I don't think I could watch the game. The mystery is why is this guy on scholarship?( Graham was redshirted to answer your question Darby)

Kenny looked VERY good in the spring game. With that being said, I do not believe he is ready "to be thrown into the fire."

I don't think Bauserman is ever going to be ready to be thrown into the fire.

He'll do for now. Remember people...he was a "token" quarterback, not the one they were really after.

remember what Lou Holtz did while at Arkansas (can you sense the irony??):

"Holtz went to the University of Arkansas in 1977. In his seven years there, the Razorbacks compiled a 60–21–2 record and reached six bowl games. In his first season at Arkansas, he led them to a berth in the Orange Bowl against the Oklahoma Sooners, then coached by University of Arkansas alumnus Barry Switzer. The Sooners were in position to win their third national championship in four seasons, after top-ranked Texas lost earlier in the day to fifth-ranked Notre Dame in the Cotton Bowl Classic. Holtz had suspended his team's top two running backs for the Orange Bowl, for disciplinary reasons. However, behind 205 yards rushing from reserve running back Roland Sales, the Hogs defeated the Sooners, 31–6"
