If we can get a discussion on this it would be much more interesting than schedule.Any politics involved with the choice of the next qb?It's a fair question.

It is indeed a fair question. I think we're gonna surprise a few people next year.

It is a hard subject to speak about. You would think that with the success and the character of Reno, politics would not be an issue.I heard there may be some tough decisions ahead.

I give you credit Snyds . . . after last week's beat down, you still have the capacity to type "Heard"!

I hear a mention of "politics" here... This intrigues me??? I have NEVER known Reno to deal with politics, he's to old school for that... Whats the deal?

Unless (dont take this the wrong way) Big Red gets a transfer, I see Prather getting the nod. I don't think Reno will start a Senior QB if he can get promise out of a younger player for more than one year.

I've heard that Prather was a transfer from Weirton. Hopefully the kid earns the job. I watched him warm-up earlier this season and he has a cannon.

Hate to tell you but "politics" have always played a part in who plays and who sits at Big Red...I have seen too many good athletes not play football because their families have no clout...just my opinion...

If that's the case then there is no doubt who it will be at QB.

I am a fan of using a QB for two years instead of one if possible. If we have to go with a QB for a year that is fine. I like Pierro as an overall athlete & think Prather would make a better QB in the long run.

Meyer seems to have a funny looking throwing motion, so I would count him out but time will tell who is the best candidate.

GodSpeed to all three

Prather can not transfer to Oak Glen. His only other choice is Weir, that is where his house is.

Seems to me unless he does work really hard in the off season that Prather needs to work on his agility. He looks like he runs flatfooted.

Prather has a strong and accurate arm. Pierro is a good QB, but we his hands at reciever.....

Prather should be pretty good come next season, IMO. I'm sure they will have him working on that speed and agility....

Who are next season's soph's at QB though???? No one who makes it into the conversation????

I've heard that his family moved to Steubenville awhile back. I do not think he will transfer, those are just rumors.

Petrella started at receiver all year for the freshman team but i could see him as a pretty good quarterback

I got to see Prather play against Brooke. He has a great arm,but I agree with his speed and agility..That can all be worked on,and I think we will do fine next year.. I wish we had some bigger size on the line.. Where does Mooney get all those BIG boys???
