Who would you throw money down on right now to win the NBA title, and why?

For me there is a difference between who I think will win the title, and who I would bet on winning. I think Boston will win the title with Rondo developed into possibly the best guard in the league plus adding a few big bodies to their existing lineup. But if I had to put money on a team RIGHT NOW, I wouldn't pick them just because there's too much risk with injuries and age with Boston. So I would put money on the Lakers at this time. If I were betting at the end of the season and Boston were healthy, I'd pick them.

Well I'm gonna be bias and pick my Celtics -- We haven't even had Perkins, Jermaine O'Neal, Shaq, Delonte West the majority of the year and even Rondo has missed 7 games but we're still 23-4 .... With that said all of the minutes the rest of the team has played so far can come back to hurt them later in the year. But KG, Pierce & Ray look to be in the best shape they've been in, in a couple years. J.O. will be back Saturday, Rondo will be back next weekend, D-West mid to late January and Perkins in February.

Boston because KG is playing back to his old level when he was a top 3 PF in the league. Maybe not statistically, but skillwise and athletically.

Clippers. They're thisclose to turning things around! That is, if Donald Sterling can stop heckling his own players.

If I had to pick right now, i'd go with the Lakers, simply because Boston's dealing with a lot of injuries. Once they're healed up, i'd take them.

Any answer besides "LA", "Lakers", "LA Lakers" is completely moronic.

He also may go on another racist binge and arbitrarily cut all of the black players.

Gotta go with the Lakers.....Kobe is the best finisher in the league and Jackson will outcoach anyone in the East.
