On break from school these next couple weeks and I have a few days off work so this is literally the first time since like August I have nothing going on, and my girlfriend has been busy with work and family.
So, I did the logical thing and opened a membership with the Family Video nearby to catch up on movies/games. The beauty of it is the first 30 days you get everything half off. I rented two new release movies and the new Assassin's Creed game for like $6 today.
Today I had a pretty good day. I started off with Devil (the flick about the people being stranded in an elevator supposedly being haunted by the devil himself) So the synopsis was awful and also not helping things was apparently M. Night Shyamalan was a writer. But, the movie was actually decent and exceeded my expectations. Would I watch it again? Probably not, but usually after watching Shyamalan films I turn the movie off halfway through.
Secondly, I watched 'The Town' with Ben Affleck about Boston robberies. This movie probably goes in my top five favorite movies all time. It was pretty sweet.

The bad part of the day was the new Assassin's Creed game wasn't that good. I really liked the first and second one, but this one just had too much shit going on. So I'll return this game about four days early along with the movies tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, I'll aim to watch 'Wall Street' and 'The A-Team' and see about renting another game -- I still haven't played the new Call of Duty since school kept me so busy. Also the girlfriend wants to watch 'Easy A' which I will allow since it has Emma Stone, who is fucking hot.
I don't go back to school til January 10th and work three 12-hour shifts a week so I have a lot of time off and plan to milk this 30 day 1/2 half off deal for as long as I can (then never go back there again)
Anyone else have any other movie suggestions? I did see Inception/The Other Guys/Salt in theaters and The Expendables last week so those are no-go.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World!!!

Wall Street 2 and A-Team were good movies. I really loved Wall Street 2 you should definately try and watch both.
Also I don't know if you've seen The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo but the 2nd movie for the series came out about 2 months ago and its called The Girl Who Played With Fire. I'd rent them both if you haven't seen either they are good movies.

Im not a COD fan but I've played Black Ops a few times and I thought it was a pretty sweet game al though I sucked at it. The graphic are phenomenal.

Good God, Natalie Portman almost made me to take care of some business after watching the masturbation scene.

Movie is weird as hell though, lol.

My wife bought Inception on Blu Ray for me when it came out last week because we never got a chance to see it in theaters. I've watched it 3 times already; sweet as hell.

Definition of irony: Inception being one of the most pirated films of the year.

Inception (watched it again for the second time...just as entertaining as the first time).

Despicable Me...it was witty, but not hilarious.
The Good Guys - random comedy, but I laughed a lot

Preface: My best friend and I both watched this movie. She loved it, I hated it.

The movie "Antichrist" with William Defoe. Visually beautiful. Disturbing. Sexually explicit. Gross. Great soundtrack (if you like Handel, which I do).

I found this movie under the horror section and didn't think it was scary at all as much as disturbing. There's nothing that goes "BOO!" and there's no slashers wearing masks... at least the kind of masks that we're used to. In fact, right after watching it, I didn't think it was a good movie at all. A few days later, after thinking about it, I believe that I'm finally getting the merits of it.
