If St. Louis wins against San Francisco then the season finale against Seattle will be for the division title.

Seattle doesn't even have to win against Tampa Bay.

St. Louis would be 7-8 and Seattle 6-9 but the winner of the final game would take it.

That could be the Week 17 flex game.

and the most criminal part is the winner of that fiasco would play a home game...but against the Saints and would lose by 20.

Give Detroit credit for picking off Green Bay and Tampa Bay in back-to-back weeks.

Just taking a closer look at the potential playoff matchups, as they stand now.

I think from a Steelers perspective it would be best if Baltimore went to New England in the divisional round. That would be a battle.

At this point that probably won't happen because KC will lose to the Jets and the Jets will automatically go to New England.

And then the Baltimore/Indianapolis winner goes to Pittsburgh.

San Diego would slide into the No. 3 spot if KC stumbles, setting up Jets at San Diego. Not sure how that would play out but a San Diego win would send them to Pittsburgh.

And then the Baltimore/Indy winner goes to New England.

I think I like that better even though San Diego is a dangerous team.

based on strength of victory I believe over Jacksonville and San Diego

I'm really not sure and I follow this stuff pretty closely

basically there is going to be an AFC South winner and AFC West winner but then no other playoff team from those divisions

Jets at kansas city would be my ideal match up.
