I use my credit card for everything and pay it off every month. I've flown to Europe twice in the last two years using the miles and I'm going to go again next year.

I usually just use my debit card, there aren't very many places these days that don't accept them. I try to keep around $100 on me though for little things and emergencies.

No, I have a card with the RFID thing you wave over the machine, I'm not talking about those. The cards in Europe have a tiny chip inside them instead of a magnetic strip. You put the card into a reader for the chip and then have to enter a PIN instead of the traditional signature. It's supposed to be a lot better for identity theft, which I could see.
