Don't know much about SC. They come in at 7-1, only loss to MSU earlier in season. Its obviously better competition then what OSU has had lately. But I would expect OSU to roll in this game.

This being the first "big" home game of the year, I would expect the Bucks to roll!!

I don't know why, but I feel like this might be a trap game for the Bucks.

I still like them to win, but I don't think it will be as easy as most people are going to think.

Then again, I will probably be wrong and the Bucks will win by 25 lol

This wouldn't really qualify as a "trap game" as they are not looking forward to anyone else at this point. But I get what you're saying in that it has the potential to be an upset.

However, I think the Bucks dominate from the start.

Yeah that's more what I was saying, just the phrase "trap game" came to mind lol

Doesn't look like SC really has anyone to match up w/ Sully. He'll have about 40lbs on his man. SC looks like a balanced team w/o a star player. Just some observations by looking at their stats and roster.

Really will be an interesting game I think. SC comes in averaging just over 43 rebounds a game. While Sullinger will be able to hold his own, it will be important for the other guys to crash as well.

Ellington looks like he can shoot 3's fairly well. Other than that no idea.

Sam Muldrow might be the best defensive big man Sullinger will face all season. He's offensively challenged, but his length could give Jared problems.

I still think Ohio State rolls though. South Carolina doesn't have the horses to match the Buckeyes offensively, especially if Diebler is shooting with the confidence he was the other night.

Ohio State by 16

South Carolina may have a shot in Columbia, but not on the road. SEC teams are historically bad out of the south anyway. The best thing that could happen here is Columbus gets pounded by snow, the game is played in front of 4,000 people, the Gamecock players aren't thrilled about being there and OSU wins by 30.

Will they have the student section behind the benches for this game, like they did for the home opener I think?

The students are on break and most likely have headed home for Christmas, so I wouldn't imagine a huge student section.

South Carolina couldn't win many games in the Big Ten because they don't know how to operate an offense when someone is defending them.
Like most SEC teams they rely on offensive ability alone. OSU plays great team defense and no one from SC is good enough to carry them to a victory.

Smart move by Horn, gotta speed up the OSU team on the offensive and defensive end. Helter skelter is the way to go here. USC can't beat OSu in the half court.

South Carolina is turrible shooting today. Gonna get ugly if they can't start knocking down shots.

Ohio State's defense is VERY good today. Most of NCS's shots have come at the end of the shot clock. Ohio State has blocked many of their shots. It seems as if almost all of NC States's shots have been contested.
