I also went with my Dad for a long weekend when I was in high school. It was warm and my brother and I had a lot of fun just walking around and seeing the sights.

PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (in TORONTO no doubt) was your fifth grade trip!?!?!

I remember hearing about this when I was in school. It was a big thing cause our teacher was from that area so she would always talk about the falls which was pretty cool.

You do get the same view, and you just cross over after doing the Maid of the Mist. My fiancee's uncle is a Niagara Falls tour guide. He had some other tips for us last time we went, but none of them were as good as the difference in getting right on the boat vs waiting in line for 2 hours. They make the exact same trip once they get to a certain point.

Yes it was. Our music teacher put it together. Our class was the first to go and then every class afterwards did as well. After Phantom shut down they went to see The Lion King. My little brother and sister saw that and loved it. I am not sure if they still do it because that teacher retired...but it was amazing. I have seen Phantom two times since and would love to see it again.

That sounds great! Our trip was for 4 days and 3 nights, 4 kids to a hotel room and 1 or 2 teachers per floor. It was wild and crazy and tons of fun! We also went to Toronto but mainly just to explore, I would have loved to get to see Phantom.

I went to Toronto showings of both Phantom and The Lion King and loved them both. I'd go back to either of them in a heartbeat.
