That I wasn't aware of. I can see that as a big deal. I retract my statement.
Yep, 1st ever in a long career.

This pretty much sums up how people feel:

Then I have to agree with those who said should've started Z, played to the first stoppage, and let him get the record.

Only Cavs fans would get this worked up over something like this. Big Deal so he didn't play in 1 game. Almost every Cavs game thread 95% of the posters complain about Z and how worthless he is and do not want him the game. Now the COACH sits him and everyone is in an uproar because of a silly little record that he will break at some point anyway.

Dumb... so LeBron shouldn't want what's best for the team in order to not hurt someone's feelings? I'm pretty sure everyone wishes that Z was still his old self... but he's been pretty bad this season so far. Big fall off from last year.
I personally don't think getting Shaq was the best thing for the Cavs. And yes Z isn't his "old" self but he put in good minutes last season and having his minutes slashed won't allow him to even match that.
For the record I'm definitely not a Cavs fan and couldn't really care less about the record just putting in my 2 cents.
