I was in the video store tonight, and someone out there had the balls to do a sequel to Titanic...

SMH!

You have no idea how pissed off this makes me, and how retarded this is.

I'll be honest...I might be one of 3 people on the face if this Earth that hasn't seen the movie.

I've seen parts, but never the whole thing. Same thing with Pearl Harbor.

I didn't think about that. If it had a zombie twist, then I'd be 100% fine with it.

why would you get pissed just because someone made a movie? i mean, i get that it's completely retarded and all, but not really something i'd think someone would get pissed about.

I wasn't actually pissed off. It was more of a "really?" Kind of like when you get pissed when you are in a grocery store, and people are eating shit out of their cart while they shop.

1. People make sequels to shitty movies all the time.
2. It is highly likely that this sequel would hold my interest exactly as much as the first movie.
3. Fail to see the problem with eating food in the grocery store. Unless it is produce or something, all you really need is the barcode.

just remember, for every shitty movie you see, there will always be one that's worse.

For example, check out this gem from SyFy

Hell I am surprised they are only on Part II. Half the time I check out video rentals I always discover parts 5,6,7 to movies that I never knew they made a part 2 or 3 of. I think the American Pie series is already up to about Part 6. Most of the free world stopped watching after Part 2.

quote from Jimmy Buffet..."You never know what the public is going to buy."

I get the fact that a lot of people don't like the 90's version of Titanic but it is far from a bad movie. As far as another remake, there are so many angles to to this tragic human interest story, that coming out with a new twist every twenty years doesn't really bother me.
Pretty simple...don't buy it or watch.

Didn't say I did it. I said, "fail to see the problem with it". Did you get your "classy" badge in the boy scouts?

I don't know, but there definitely will be in the next Pirates of the Caribbean, which pound for pound, is a much better boat movie than any Titanic ever will be.

Per Wikipedia, it's not a sequel. It's a movie about a separate boat name Titanic II and takes place in the future, not the past.

That means there actually is a pretty good chance zombies will be involved. I am now intrigued.

The first Titanic was thee lamest piece of garbage ever produced...turrible. I mean, just the fact that Leo couldn't, literally for the life of him, find another piece of floating shit to climb atop to get out of the fucking frozen water....how fucking moronic...made any and everything the previous three hours of contrived diatribe irrelevant SMH
