Desean Jackson is a great talent but he is working his way to being the biggest douche in the NFL..... god I wish Newman would of kept on running and destroyed him

Classless if you ask me.

Not a fan of either team but Dallas will take note of that and Jackson will get his when he least expects it.

He is a douche bag thug, and also that isn't even close to the best td celebration ever. To the OP, do you actually think this is the best TD celebration ever?

Not really a celebration....but I could watch Bo Jackson run through the endzone at warp speed and deep into the tunnel before reappearing 100 times.

Jackson is a punk. But the dude is a fucking monster. He outran every single Cowboy on a bad ankle.

Also, there should not have been a penalty on that TD. As Collinsworth said during the game, you are allowed to dive into the end zone and technically that is what he did.

That wasn't a dive but it was pure rub it in your face showboating! All he had to do was walk in to the endzone and act like he's been there before, pure punk move IMO. Like I said, Jackson will get his sooner or later.

I don't disagree.

But it technically was a dive IN TO the end zone. It was a celebration BEFORE the play was over, which is not a penalty.

The guy is nothing but a punk. Listen to Polamalu's interview after yesterdays game if you want to know what class is.

I'm pretty sure you can't just dive in to the endzone for the hell of it, it's gets called all the time when there's no need to dive, especially when you can walk in for a TD. What Jackson did was absolutely a penalty, even if he would have dived forward in to the endzone..

The diving into the end zone was not the penalty. The penalty was "going to the ground" in celebration. However, what he did was technically diving into the end zone; the penalty should not have been called. And had he actually just dove(not dived) into the end zone, a penalty would not have been called. The only reason the penalty was called was because of the pre-TD celebration. It should NOT have been called as such.

I think your wrong on that count, diving in to the endzone when there is no need to is a form of taunting/unsportsman like conduct and gets flagged all the time. It's a different story if he's diving in to beat a tackle while trying to score (ala Polamalu yesterday), that's legal. Even if Jackson dives straight forward he gets called for the penalty because there wasn't anyone with in five yards of him.

They would not have called THAT specific penalty if he had simply dove into the end zone, as there was a defender in the area. Yes the defender was nowhere near close enough to make a play on him; but he was there.

And I'll say it again. The penalty was NOT called for diving into the end zone, which you are arguing. It was called for "going to the ground" during a celebration. Which he didn't do either because the celebration came before the TD was scored and it was NOT a dead ball.

I know what I am saying is somewhat contradictory, but I'm just stating what they called on the field. Had the penalty been called for "diving into the end zone," then it would have been fine. But the penalty was called for "going to the ground," which in fact he did not do. By calling the penalty as such, they were ruling that his fall into the end zone was legal(aka making it a dive). Which in turn means him going to the ground was part of his legal action of diving. What he did was NOT a penalty, as it was ruled on the field.

Basically, the officials just called him for the wrong celebration penalty.

^^^^I'm not disputing what the penalty call was, I'm saying if he dives straight forward in to the endzone he gets flagged for it, there's no doubt in my mind, he had all day to just walk in.

If you dive straight forward into the endzone its not a penalty in the NFL. If you fall backwards into the end zone its not a penalty, if you go into the endzone and THEN go to the ground in celebration its a penalty. Dunno whats so hard to understand. Refs got it wrong on sunday if you go by the book

Also haha I dunno why people are gettin so upset over him havin some fun, maybe the Cowboys should of tackled him during the 91 yards he outran their entire defense on a hurt ankle if they didnt want him to showboat
