They would've made the plays to win, though, if the Jets got called for illegal tactics. Tarnishes the win in my mind.

I've been complaining about the officials a lot more than usual this season because it's been worse this year than other years.

But wouldn't you agree that Harrison contemplating retirement, bitchin' up one side and down the other might be coming back the Steelers in spades? Maybe your blame should be on Harrison who should have shut the fuck up.

I think the fans who are attending the games are getting put off by it, too.

The last two games I was at, Oakland and Cincinnati, there were loud chants of "refs you suck."

As I said, all of the borderline helmet hits they're making on defense are getting calls.

The borderline hits on the opposing defense against Steelers receivers are not getting called. Not one.

The late hits and helmet hits on the QB were not called. There were at least 10 obvious ones in the four games before this one

This game actually was not that bad in comparison but you can't let the defensive back grab a jersey that blatantly, it gives an unfair advantage.

My complaints are legit. I won't shy away for a second.

This was a very entertaining read. I'm surprised I haven't heard about this conspiracy on the news. The media must be in on it too!

You think nobody has had shitty calls against them all season? You think it's just the Steelers? You think they are the only one that's had borderline helmet hits. 10 obvious ones? LMAO, come on dude.

I think what has been lost in all this goofy reasoning and arguing is that the Steelers are in some serious trouble if Troy is out for the season or if his injury is a lingering one. They are not the same team....they are pretty much last year's team.

at least 10

between the Oakland game and Cincinnati game, Ben took several hits to the head, on the face, to the legs, one where two guys from Buffalo bent him back well after the whistle

none were penalties

the Steelers probably have 10 flags on helmet hits or borderline helmet hits this season and maybe one called against the other team, and I don't even remember one

there's a legitimate gripe

Did the refs help the Jets on the opening kickoff too?

This thread is amazing. What I've gathered:

1. Pittsburgh fans think there's a conspiracy against them.
2. Non has the mentality of a pissed off 11 year old the hours during and after games
3. LJ has the mentality of a pissed off 11 year old the hours during and after games

Non;607448 wrote:the Steelers receiver went out and got a step on the defensive back for the game winning touchdown

after the team had fallen behind 22-17, they had the play called and it was what they wanted

but the defensive back illegally grabbed his jersey from behind

moral of the story is the game should be decided by the teams not one team and the officials vs. the other team

The Conspiracy continues...

I bet non thinks the patriots won the 2001-2002 SB because it was the first SB after 9/11, and their team name is patriotic.

Same thing may have happened to the Jets today, it happens.

During the course of the season these things even out. Steelers fans don't seem to realize that. They think the whole league is against them...funny
