It's hard to believe the meteoric rise Malzahn has had. Five years ago he was a high school head coach at Mitch Mustain's high school and then he was hired as the offensive coordinator at Arkansas. It was rumored then that the only reason he was offered the job was so that Mustain would go there. Now he's an in-demand coordinator being offered head coaching positions, winning awards, and coaching a Heisman winner.

That is some kind of crazy insane contract for an OC. Basically blows the salary expectations for top coordinators through the roof. Thanks, Auburn.
